Congratulations to all RReSTORe Consortium members on the publication of a major White Paper summarizing the most important questions and challenges pertaining to retinal ganglion cell repopulation to restore vision in blinding optic neuropathies like glaucoma!  Importantly, this paper also highlights several avenues and experimental paradigms for meeting those challenges through collaborative research.  This will be an important guidepost as our field works towards developing innovative new therapies to improve vision in patients suffering from glaucoma and other optic nerve diseases.
